William Charles Hill was born on February 2, 1931 in Katy, Texas to Raymond Monroe Hill and Clara Mae Hulsey. William married his sweetheart Joann Spencer on November 16, 1952 in

Katy, Texas. Charles was a longtime resident of Katy, Texas, where he was a member of Katy’s First United Methodist Church, was a dairyman and worked in maintenance for Katy I.S.D.

Charles enjoyed spending time with his family traveling in their RV, making beautiful memories and sharing adventures together. But most of all, he loved spending time with his family.

William Charles Hill passed away on Sunday, March 1, 2020 in Burleson, Texas at the age of 89 years. Charles will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his daughter Clara Kimbro; grandchildren, Rian Hill, Jared Hill and his companion Jackie Silva, Kyle Kimbro, and Carisa Kimbro; and one great-grandson Landon Hill; as well many other loving family members and numerous friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife Joann Hill and his son, Charles Louis Hill and his wife Deborah “Debi” Hill.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Monday, March 9, 2020 at the Schmidt Funeral Home East Avenue Chapel, in Katy. A graveside service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Monday at Memorial Oaks Cemetery, in Houston, with Rev. Mark Kimbrough officiating.
