The start of spring means it’s time to start applying for a summer job.
Typhoon Texas, now celebrating its tenth year of summer fun in Houston, is looking to fill more than 1,000 summer positions in water safety, food & beverage, admissions, park services, maintenance, and other roles. The water park is located at 555 Katy Fort Bend Road in Katy, with easy access to I-10 and the Grand Parkway.
“We’re hiring enthusiastic individuals with a positive, can-do attitude,” says John Pham, vice president of marketing for Typhoon Texas. “Besides getting paid ‘to summer,’ our team members develop essential skills such as time management, communication, teamwork, and problem-solving which will serve them well down the road.” To apply and become a part of the team at Typhoon Texas, visit www.TyphoonTexas.com/Houston and click on the Jobs tab. Applications will be accepted online, with interviews conducted on a rolling basis.
Applicants must be 15 years of age or older.
For those interviewing for the first time without formal work experience, Pham advises applicants to focus on experiences such as volunteer work, extracurricular activities and academic accomplishments.
In addition to competitive wages and an engaging work environment, Typhoon Texas offers a range of perks for its team members, including free Friends & Family tickets, discounted in-park food and retail, scholarship opportunities, leadership development programs, and more.
