Two high school students were stabbed in an apparent fight at Beckendorff Park, 1815 Katyland Drive, Harris County Pct. 5 Constable deputies said Monday evening.

Deputies said the fight began shortly after 3 p.m., after class dismissal.

The two victims were taken by Life Flight to Memorial Hermann Hospital, deputies said. Another student, who is a suspect in the stabbing, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was taken by ambulance to a local hospital. Six people, including the two stabbing victims, were injured, deputies said.

The Katy Independent School District said in a statement that it is working with law enforcement to investigate the incident.

The district said students who were involved in the incident will be disciplined in accordance with the Student Code of Conduct and Discipline Management Plan, as well as be subject to any potential criminal consequences.

The district said Katy ISD police will also be assigned to patrol the area until the investigation has been completed.
