Employees of Suvida Healthcare, 323 S. Mason in Katy, await the arrival of area residents in need who lined up Friday, July 19 for the clinic’s distribution of milk, fresh vegetables and other foodstuffs. This was the health care provider’s fourth such distribution in the Houston area last week, following other events in Aldine, Pasadena and Spring Branch, said a company spokesperson. The initiative is part of the clinic’s “Food as Medicine” program. Suvida Healthcare specializes in providing bilingual and bicultural care to Hispanic seniors over 65 and to those who care for them.
