The Stars Gymnastics Sports Center of Katy's XCel Silver Team won Gold at the 2022 Princess Invitational with several of the team members winning individual medals. The women's meet took place in Tomball on March 5th and featured gymnasts from around the state.
Stars Sports Center took first place with their XCel Silver team with 113.50 points, the team included Bridget Foley, Sophia Blakeney, Maria Rojas D'Cesare and Arantza Aguilar.
Foley took home a gold medal in the senior all-around, balance beam, vault and floor exercise while taking silver on uneven bars.
Blakeney tok gold in the uneven bars while coming in second in the balance beam.
On the junior team, Maria Rojas D’Cesare took first in uneven bars and came in second on the balance beam.
With taking first at the meet, the team qualified for the state meet, which they will compete at from April 21-24 in Spring.
