Royal High School junior Gary Miller III recently competed in the Texas High School Welding Series Cinco Ranch Championship, where he received 3rd place out of 15 Cypress area schools. In recognition of his efforts, was awarded a $500 Ocean Corporation Scholarship Award and a $2,000 scholarship to Precision Welding Academy. Miller also met the requirements and certification for the Texas High School Welding Series Qualification Test.
