The Primrose early education and daycare facility, located at 1249 FM 1463 in Katy, is owned by franchisees Michael and Lou Ann McLaughlin. The Adopt-A-Grandparent Program at Primrose Schools creates opportunities for young children and senior citizens to develop positive, genuine relationships. Students visit senior centers monthly to nurture character traits like kindness and compassion through engaging experiences with their adopted grandparents. The program teaches children that people in all stages of life, no matter their age or ability, should be valued, respected and appreciated.
Observed on September 8, National Grandparents Day celebrates the relationships between the oldest and youngest generations.
