Members of Fort Bend County 4-H program were honored for their accomplishments during the 2023-2024 year at the annual 4-H awards program held August 25 at Jones Creek Ranch Park in the Lodge, 7714 FM 359 in Richmond. The 4-H members were recognized for their participation in county, district, and state events, with the revelation of the top honors of Rising Star, Bronze Star, Silver Star, Danforth’s “I Dare You” Award, and Gold Star as the highlight of the day. State Representative Stan Kitzman was the featured speaker.
“Along with acknowledging accomplishments, this is a celebration of the character-building motto of the 4-H program: ‘to make the best better,’” said organizers.
