Children’s Lighthouse of Katy-Wood Creek Reserve, 26051 Kingsland Blvd., is holding a toy drive. Those wishing to make donations are asked to bring new, unwrapped toys to donate to those in need this holiday season.

Local toy drives in full swing
Children’s Lighthouse of Katy-Wood Creek Reserve, 26051 Kingsland Blvd., is holding a toy drive. Those wishing to make donations are asked to bring new, unwrapped toys to donate to those in need this holiday season.
Deadline for donations is Dec. 12. For more information, call Children’s Lighthouse at 281-746-6565.
Meanwhile, Katy Cares is hosting a toy drive, which is set for 4-7 p.m. Dec. 17 at Little Woodrow’s Katy, 22225 Katy Fwy. Bring in a toy or gift card, and get a raffle ticket to enter the drawing. The event features drink specials and giveaways, along with live music by Katie Katy. For more information, call Katy Cares at 832-517-1636.
