Make-A-Wish Texas Gulf Coast and Louisiana over the past few days has granted the wishes of two Madison, Wis., students who share the same nervous system disorder. Those wishes included visits to Katy and Waller County to savor some of the local attractions.

William, age 14, and Madeline, age 12, each chose experiences they could only have in Southeast Texas. William has always been fascinated by construction, heavy equipment, and architecture, so he chose to visit Dig World in Katy. He and his family enjoyed a private visit, on Jan. 13, to Dig World at Katy Mills Mall. Although normally closed on Fridays, Dig World opened for the family and provided an exclusive opportunity to explore the park.

On Jan. 14-15, Madeline’s selected activities included VIP experiences at the Houston Zoo, and highlighted by a private giraffe feeding) and Children’s Museum Houston.

Finally, William on Jan. 16 enjoyed one more construction experience, as he explored one of EE Reed’s active sites in Waller and learned about the various aspects of the industry.
