Katy ISD will host an education summit on Oct. 21 at Tompkins High School that is open to all Katy ISD community members as it prepares to update the District’s strategic plan.

The District will seek input on a wide range of critical topics, including:

“Participants will engage in facilitated brainstorming sessions designed to inform the development of the District’s upcoming two-year strategic plan. Those in attendance will also have the unique opportunity to learn about the Katy ISD K-12 experiences as described through the eyes of a student panel,” said Chief Communications Officer Andrea Grooms.

An initial meeting took place on Thursday, October 21, at Morton Ranch High School. The second meeting will happen on Tuesday, October 26, at Tompkins High School, located at 4400 Falcon Landing Blvd., from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Light dinner will be served at 5:30 p.m.
