Katy ISD promotes Lalime and Morgan

During their Monday evening meeting, the Katy ISD Board of Trustees promoted Ann Lalime to principal of Stockdick Junior High School and Chris Morgan to Assistant Superintendent for Secondary School Leadership and Support. Both were appointed to their new positions, which they will move into at the beginning of the 2020-2021 school year.

Lalime, who holds a Doctorate in Educational Leadership from Sam Houston State University, is a career educator who began working in public education in 1990 with Katy ISD. She has experience teaching third through sixth grades and has been serving as principal of Golbow Elementary in Katy ISD since 2009.

Morgan began his career as an elementary teacher for Irving ISD in 1995. Since then, he has served as principal of Paul Keyes Elementary in Irving ISD, in multiple Fort Bend ISD principal roles and has served as principal for Taylor High School since the 2017-18 academic year. Morgan holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Kinesiology from Stephen F. Austin State University and a Master of Education in Administration from Texas Women’s University.

Katy ISD’s Board of Trustees unanimously voted both educators into their new roles.
