Authorities are seeking the public’s help in identifying a suspect involved in a shooting at the Lazy Frog Bar located at 4329 N. State Highway 6. Harris County Sheriffs Office investigators are seeking the suspect after two men were injured during the shooting that occurred at about 2:45 a.m. on July 3 that resulted in two men being shot.

“Both victims are still in critical condition at Memorial Herman Hospital,” an HCSO statement read.

Witnesses told investigators that the suspect had gotten into a physical altercation with a 34-year-old man. The suspect was escorted out of the bar at around 2:40 a.m. and returned a few minutes later with a pistol which he then aimed at the 34-year-old. The 34-year-old then pulled a firearm and fired twice at the suspect, missing him.

The suspect then returned fire and struck the 34-year-old as well as a 36-year-old employee of the bar. He then fled the bar to what is believed to be a 2015-2020 Nissan Juke that was a mustard yellow or gold color.

The suspect is described as between 5-feet 8-inches and 5-feet 10-inches tall with a military haircut and a stocky build. Witnesses described him as Hispanic and between the ages of 35 and 40 with several tattoos on his arm, neck and chest.

HCSO is asking anyone with information on the suspect to contact the HCSO Violent Crime Unit at 713-247-9100.

Crime Stoppers may pay up to $5,000 for information leading to the charging and/or arrest of the suspect in this case. Information may be reported by calling 713-222-TIPS (8477), submitted online at www.crime-stoppers.org or through the Crime Stoppers mobile app. Only tips and calls directly to Crime Stoppers are anonymous and eligible for a cash reward.
