Fort Bend County District Clerk, Beverley McGrew Walker, announced on December 5th that the Houston Passport Agency, U.S. Department of State has recognized the Fort Bend County District Clerk’s Office for accepting the highest volume of passport applications in Fiscal Year 2023.

Fort Bend County District Clerk, Beverley McGrew Walker, announced on December 5th that the Houston Passport Agency, U.S. Department of State has recognized the Fort Bend County District Clerk’s Office for accepting the highest volume of passport applications in Fiscal Year 2023.
“The Fort Bend County District Clerk’s Office processed 24,240 passport applications in Fiscal Year 2023 bringing an additional $1,037,913.00 into the Fort Bend County general fund,” Walker said. The Fort Bend County District Clerk’s Passport Facility is open in Richmond, Texas Monday through Friday from 8 a.m.. until 5 p.m. The facility operates on an appointment basis, but currently takes walk-ins until 2 p.m.
The Sienna Passport Office located in the Fort Bend County Sienna Annex at 5855 Sienna Springs Way, Missouri City, Texas also takes appointments and walk-ins. According to Michelle Jochen, Chief Deputy District Clerk, passport appointments can be made from any computer or cell phone by going to the Fort Bend County District Clerk’s website and clicking on passport appointments. At this website, one can opt for a passport book, passport card or both, and decide the appropriate dollar amount needed prior to coming to the appointment. The U. S. Department of State only accepts personal checks, cashier’s checks, or money orders with passport applications. The $35 execution fee can be paid with a credit card or cash.
