As the City of Katy remains in a Level 3 drought situation, city officials pleaded with area residents to conserve water, via a department Facebook post on August 25th.

“COOPERATION IS KEY TO HELP OUR WATER SYSTEM:

IT IS CRITICAL FOR EVERYONE to follow your watering schedule,” said the post.

The watering schedule may be viewed here: www.cityofkaty.com/water-conservation.

Those NOT in compliance will be sent a notice that could result in a fine or loss of water  service, according to the statement on Facebook.

The city asked for help in identifying policy violators; the city may be notified through www.cityofkaty.com/waterviolation or by emailing droughtviolations@cityofkaty.com.
