Waller County commissioners agreed to spend more than $4 million to finish up several municipal building projects which will update several of the county's outdated buildings. The new construction should be completed in August. In an interview earlier this year, County Judge Trey Duhon said the next construction project down the road is an update to the Waller County Courthouse which has an outdated boiler system and an air conditioning system which isn't dependable, among other outdated maintenance concerns.
