Waller Court purchases new equipment

Several payments and purchases were approved by the Waller County Commissioner’s Court during their July 8 meeting.

The court approved a payment of $521,693.75 to Collier Construction, LLC in relation to the Precinct 4 Building construction. According to Construction Manager Danny Rothe, the building is expected to be completed on August 1.

Several equipment purchases and trade-ins were approved at the request of the county engineer for the following items:

- One Bomag RS460 Reclaimer and Stabilizer in the amount of $235,000.

- One Kubota M6S-111SDSC2 Boom Mower in the amount of $135,134.76.

- One 50 Ton Air Ride Haul Trailer in the amount of $49,596.10.

- One International HV067, 6x4 with Curry Water Tank in the amount of $119,900.

- One Dynapac CP2700 Pneumatic Roller in the amount of $100,000.

A speed limit of 35 mph on the entire length of Zadelsky Road was established.
