Texans fire head coach Culley
Just four days after the end of the NFL regular season, the Houston Texans fired head coach David Culley.
Culley, who went 4-13 in his only season as a head coach, became the first one year head coaching hire in the Texans history. He went 2-2 to finish the season and the team showed progress with rookie quarterback Davis Mills at the helm.
Culley was the fourth head coach in Texans history, following Dom Capers, Gary Kubiak and Bill O’Brien.
Texans General Manager Nick Caserio is expected to conduct the new coaching search, it is expected that he could look for a replacement that comes from his old organization, the New England Patriots.
