Paetow student finishes Houston Marathon
Paetow senior Nicolas Valadez was a finisher at the Houston Marathon last weekend, taking on a big challenge and finishing in the top third of the entire event in what
Valadez finished 445th overall out of more than 13,00 runners and had supports from his classmates as well, as more than 40 Paetow National Honor Society students, including the National Honor Society Secretary at Paetow.
Valadez is active in both the academic and athletic side at Paetow, as he serves as the Treasurer of the National Honor Society and as a member of the cross country and track team in athletics.
Valadez advanced to the Class 6A Region III meet this year in cross country.
