The Fort Bend County Sheriff’s office responded to a 911 call at 10:49 p.m. Saturday evening. Upon arrival, law enforcement officers found two adults deceased in the home from apparent gunshot wounds. The incident happened about a mile from Seven Lakes High School.
“It was determined the shooter, Brian Carter, shot his estranged wife, Kristi Carter, before taking his own life. Their teenage son was at home at the time,” said Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office spokesman, Major Chad Norvell.
The couple’s son is in the care of family members, Norvell said.
