Louis Trant Jordy
July 20, 1953 – May 19, 2022

Louis Trant Jordy, beloved husband, father, brother, and friend, passed away on May 19, 2022, in Santa Marta, Columbia, where he had been living with his loving wife Ruth Lopez Jordy for the past year.
Memorial services were held on May 25, 2022, at Peace Gardens in Santa Marta, Columbia, where he was laid to rest.
Louis was born in Santa Monica, California and later moved to Houston, Texas in 1971, but spent most of his life in the Katy and Sealy areas. Before retiring, Louis worked as a Structural Designer for various oil and gas exploration and development companies.
Louis loved both his and Ruth’s family. He enjoyed the outdoors, get-togethers, playing his guitar, and riding his motorcycle. He will be dearly missed by all his family and friends.
Louis is survived by his wife Ruth Lopez Jordy of 16 years; his daughter Sarah Jordy and partner, David Hernandez; his granddaughter, Logan; his son Aaron Jordy and partner, Jessica Kelly; his stepson’s Creighton Holub and wife, Crystal; and Nicholas Holub and wife, Peggy.
Louis is also survived by his brother Tom Vaught and wife Rhonda; sister Kshanti Morris and husband Bob; along with numerous cousins, nephews, and nieces.
His was preceded in death by his parents Louis and Anne Jordy and his sister Deborah Burge and husband Charles.
