Katy ISD spokesperson Maria DiPetta said no students were injured when a collision occurred at about 2:45 p.m. in the 23,100 block of Stockdick School Road. The accident was considered minor, DiPetta said, and occurred when the other vehicle struck the bus.
“There were students on the bus,” DiPetta said. “The driver of the bus called an ambulance out of precaution. The scene was minor and was cleared quickly.”
Cy-Fair Fire Department and Waller County EMS responded to the accident as a precaution. A statement on social media from Cy-Fair Fire Department said the driver of the second vehicle was transported for care but was in stable condition.
The Harris County Sheriff’s Office and Katy ISD Police Department are investigating the accident.
