Due to the inclement weather forecast, Katy ISD will be closed on Monday, February 15, which was already a scheduled student holiday. Professional development scheduled for Monday will not take place. Reports from the National Weather Service currently indicate that hazardous conditions are likely to be present throughout our area through Tuesday. In preparation for Tuesday, February 16, all instruction will be delivered via asynchronous virtual learning for all in-person and Katy Virtual Academy (KVA) students. District personnel will be working from home on Tuesday.
All extracurricular practices, competitions, rehearsals and performances are suspended beginning today, February 12 through Tuesday, February 16. Katy ISD anticipates these activities will resume on Wednesday, February 17.
Curbside Katy Virtual Academy Grab and Go meals scheduled for pick up on Tuesday, February 16, will be available on Wednesday, February 17, 4 – 6 p.m. at the regular sites. Curbside Grab and Go meal service will resume its regular schedule on Thursday, February 18.
