Katy Rodeo
The Katy Cowgirls opened the Katy Rodeo on February 13 with the presentation of the flags at the W. E. “Billy” Morgan arena at Katy ISD’s Gerald D. Young Agricultural Science Center, 5801 Katy Hockley Cutoff Road in Katy. The Katy Cowgirls -- a KISD organization – are “a drill team on horses” which for 80 years has represenedt Katy and the school district at community events, including local parades such as the Rice Harvest Parade and the Katy Rodeo Parade.
