A number of Katy ISD players were named to the Touchdown Club of Houston’s preseason UIL honor team for the 2022 season. The team features 38 football players from the Houston area, 20 on offense and 18 on defense.

Katy ISD student-athletes named to Touchdown Club of Houston preseason UIL honor team
A number of Katy ISD players were named to the Touchdown Club of Houston’s preseason UIL honor team for the 2022 season. The team features 38 football players from the Houston area, 20 on offense and 18 on defense.
The honorees were recognized today during the Touchdowner of the year event, which featured Wade Phillips.
Katy running back Seth Davis was named to the team on offense along with Morton Ranch offensive linemen Zach Session, while Jordan’s Jake Kilander was named to the team as the lone kicker and punter from the Houston area.
Defensively, Paetow’s David Hicks Jr. was named to the team as a lineman while Katy’s Johnathan Hall and Mayde Creek’s Tay’Shawn Wilson were named to the team as defensive backs.
