Katy Home and Garden Show moving to Katy ISD Agriculture Services Center

Posted

At a time when just getting back to normal is a welcome change, the Katy Home and Garden Show has an even bigger change in store for its March show.

For its first 15 years, the show took place at the Merrell Center. This year, it moves to the Katy ISD Agriculture Sciences Center, 5825 Katy Hockley Cut Off Road.

Organizers expect the move to bring the show back to its previous size, with more room for big gardens and outdoor living exhibits.

As with so many other attractions, returning to a full schedule is a gladly welcomed situation for the show’s organizers and enthusiasts. The fall 2020 show was cancelled. The spring 2021 show, typically set for January, was pushed out to March.

This year, over 250 booths will be open at the show, with plenty of shopping opportunities, food sampling and food trucks.

In addition, attendees will have the chance to learn how to make the perfect charcuterie board with Cheese Chica. Attendees can also meet Stacee Lynn, the Barndominium Lady, to learn about her floor design plans and get tips.

The show is from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. March 26 and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. March 27. Tickets are $7 for adults, and are free for kids 12 and under. Military personnel, veterans, first responders receive free admission for two to the Sunday show by showing valid ID at the box office.

Parking is free.
