The 2022 I-10 shootout is set to start tomorrow in a tournament that will feature some of the state’s strongest teams.

Seven Lakes, which is ranked the No. 1 team in the greater Houston Area Rankings by Lethal Enforcer soccer. Also in the tournament are No. 2 Ridge Point, No. 4 Bridgeland, No. 5 Grand Oaks, No. 6 Tompkins, No. 9 Cy-Fair, No. 10 Tomball, No. 11 Brazoswood, No. 12 Cy-Woods and No. 15 Klein Cain. Also part of the tournament is Class 5A’s No. 4 Jordan.

The Falcon bracket will be a very strong bracket including tough teams. The bracket includes Tompkins, Ridge Point, Brazoswood, Cy-Woods and Jordan.

The Spartan bracket includes the No. 1 ranked team In the region in Seven Lakes as well as Cy-Ranch, Tomball Memorial and Bellaire.

The Tiger bracket has Katy, Cy-Lakes, Oak Ridge and Spring Woods. The Maverick bracket has Morton Ranch, Fulshear, Klein Cain and Kingswood. The Ram bracket includes Mayde Creek, Fort Bend Bush, Cy-Ridge and Cy-Falls. The Panther bracket includes Paetow, Jersey Village, Cy-Park and Northbrook. The Mustang bracket includes Taylor, Cy-Creek, Fort Bend Austin and LaPorte and the Cougar bracket includes Cinco Ranch, Foster, George Ranch and Cy-Fair.

Seven Lakes wills tart out with a game against Bellaire. Paetow will start against Jersey Village, Mayde Creek will start against Fort Bend Bush, Katy will start against Heights, Morton Ranch will start against Fulshear, Taylor will start against Alvin, Tompkins will start against Clear Springs, Cinco Ranch will start against Clements and Jordan will play its opener against Brazoswood. 

The tournament will be split into a winners and losers bracket on Friday before the finals games are the finals are played on Saturday.

The Panther bracket final will be played 9 a.m. at Rhodes Stadium, the Cougar bracket final will be played 10 a.m. at Legacy Stadium, the Ram bracket final will be played 11 a.m. at Rhodes, the Tiger bracket will be played noon at Legacy, the Maverick bracket will be played 1 p.m. at Rhodes, the Falcon bracket final plays at 2 p.m. at Legacy, the Mustang bracket final will be played at 4 at Rhodes and the Spartan bracket final will be played 4 p.m. at Legacy.
