The Fort Bend Teen Service League has donated $1,000 to the Sugar Plum Market Place and $250 to the Fort Bend Education Foundation.
The $1,000 donation went to the market which is a holiday shopping event that raises money for nonprofit organizations throughout Fort Bend County. Volunteers also put together goodie bags to give to sponsors of the market in celebration of the holiday season.
The $250 donation was associated with the Great Cupcake Chase Scavenger Hunt which was hosted by the Fort Bend Education Foundation. Participants in the scavenger hunt located cupcake yard signs in the Sugar land area and those who found ten signs were rewarded with cupcakes. Following the event, the donation was made to the FBEF which provides educational opportunities for Fort Bend ISD students.
