Honorees, who were nominated by community members, included: Will Miller/Army, Gerald Powell/Army, Dana Enos/Army Air Corps, Herb Berkowitz/Army, Joshua Allen/Navy, Frank Hawthorne/Coast Guard, Larry Arnold/Navy and Russell Holmes/Coast Guard, The ceremony took place at the VFW Hall, 6202 George Bush Drive in Katy.

Honorees, who were nominated by community members, included: Will Miller/Army, Gerald Powell/Army, Dana Enos/Army Air Corps, Herb Berkowitz/Army, Joshua Allen/Navy, Frank Hawthorne/Coast Guard, Larry Arnold/Navy and Russell Holmes/Coast Guard, The ceremony took place at the VFW Hall, 6202 George Bush Drive in Katy. “The quilts are wrapped around each veteran, not just handed to them,” said emcee Laurel Cull, symbolizing the care and respect the NSDAR has for veterans. “Every stitch is done with love and respect.” The organization has donated over 300 quilts over the past several years, she said.
