Katy Branch Library announces January events
The Katy Branch Library at 5414 Franz Road in Katy has scheduled the following events for January: · Watercolor Art Club for adults starting Thursday, January 9 at 6:30 p.m. It will take place every other week and is a great place for artists to connect while they work on their projects. Whether you're just starting out or a more advanced artist, this group is for you. Bring your own materials to finish your latest project or to start a new one. · Tackle Your TBR: Quiet Book Club for adults on Tuesday, January 24 from 1 to 2:30 p.m. This event provides a quiet space, with snacks, for adults to focus on their own reading. It's great for those adults who have trouble finding time to read or can't focus in a loud house.
Katy Pride hosts first ‘Espresso Yourself’ meet-up of the year on January 10
Meet up with members of LGBTQ+ organization Katy Pride for “Espresso Yourself” – an event where there will be caffeine and conversation. The gathering takes place January 10 from 8 to 10 a.m. at Coffee Fellows, 3329 W. Grand Parkway N. Suite 700 in Katy. Free to attend.
