Fans at Legacy Stadium cheered and applauded Katy ISD sports legends, who stood under the Friday night lights on October 10. The Athletic Hall of Honor Class of 2025 induction ceremony united the district, highlighting the 2015 football and softball state championship teams, six coaches and 17 exceptional athletes for their accomplishments in athletics and in the community.

These players and coaches were honored for embodying the values of the district’s Athletic Department – attitude, character, commitment, leadership, sportsmanship, responsibility, accountability, decision-making, work ethic and teamwork, the district said in a subsequent press release.

“In our ninth year honoring the district’s athletic legends, we remain inspired by how these individuals continue to exemplify Katy ISD’s values long after their time here,” Executive Director of Athletics Lance Carter said. “It’s always a privilege to welcome them home and celebrate their achievements with their families and those who knew them best.”
