Harris County Pct. 4 Commissioner R. Jack Cagle has tested positive for COVID-19 and will attend to his normal duties virtually, including attending Tuesday’s Harris County Commissioners Court meeting.
Cagle began experiencing mild, cold-like symptoms on Saturday morning. Because he was visiting his elderly mother, Cagle took an at-home COVID test. The results were positive. His staff said that Cagle, out of an abundance of caution, is restricting his public appearances.
Cagle’s mother has tested negative, his staff said.
