The Brookshire Youth Sports League invites the community to its first annual community barbecue fundraiser, to be held September 28 at 4 p.m. at Brookshire Methodist Church at 707 Cooper Street in Brookshire. The $15.00 plate includes two meats (choice of chicken, sausage or ribs), sides, a dessert and a drink.
