Beyond the halfway point of the regular season, three Katy ISD football teams remain undefeated.
Mayde Creek is calling this season its “Revenge Tour.” The intent is to make up for the games the Rams felt got away from them last season.
Week 2 was kind to Katy ISD’s football teams. The district went 6-2, with only Cinco Ranch and Morton Ranch picking up defeats. The Cougars are the only program to not have picked up a win so far; alas, it is very early.

When Jennifer Vaden started as head coach of the Mayde Creek volleyball program in 2017, it was a season of growing pains. The squad struggled to win five games and finished last in district play.
Daniel Huery is good at math. Very good. Calculus, for instance, is a welcomed class on the schedule next year. The Mayde Creek senior is also gifted in science and physics.
