The recruiting process for high school football student-athletes in the Class of 2021 was a difficult one because of a plethora of limitations due to the COVID-19 pandemic. There was no spring football. Camps were canceled. Official visits were not permitted. more

Paetow’s football season did not end how it desired, with its area round playoff game canceled because of COVID-19 cases within the Panthers program, but its success this season was rewarded when the District 10-5A, Division I selections were recently released. more

As a junior last season, Paetow running back Damon Bankston rushed for 1,097 yards and eight touchdowns, with 286 receiving yards and four more touchdowns. Bankston averaged 8.4 yards per carry and 22.6 yards per catch. more
