Albert Buswell, III

Albert Buswell, III was born on November 2, 1956 in Wewoka, Oklahoma to Albert Jr. and Margaret Ivy Buswell. Albert was an amazing and brilliant man.  He was a wonderful husband to wife, Susan; great father to Jessica Dempsey and was the perfect Papa to his two precious grandchildren, Madison & Bradley Ferguson. He is also survived his beautiful and dear mother, Margaret Buswell of Del City, OK; and sisters, Alison Cox and husband Judge Lonnie Cox of Dickinson, TX and Marian Buswell of Phoenix, AZ; as well as two dogs, Otis and Beau; and many, wonderful friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Albert Buswell, Jr. in 2006

Albert was an accomplished musician and received his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Mannes Conservatory in NYC.  He played the trumpet many times with the New York Philharmonic, including one of their European tours. He worked for over 15 years with Schlumberger in the programming field.  He also worked for many years with Marathon Oil Company. 

Albert loved football, especially the New England Patriots and Tom Brady. He also loved classical and heavy metal music.  He loved science fiction books and had a passion for reading.

He loved this country! He loved his family and friends! He loved Life!

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, January 21, 2019 at the Schmidt Funeral Home Grand Parkway Chapel, with Rev. Daniel Schramm. A reception will follow the service in the reception suite.
