Pregnancy Help Center of West Houston is proud to announce that 24 local churches participated in this year’s Baby Bottle Blessings event, raising a grand total of $35,310.04 to date.

The event ran from Mother’s Day through Father’s Day. Local residents picked up 2,630 Baby Bottles at their home church and filled 1,326 bottles to date with change, bills and checks during the month long event.

This event spotlights the extensive resources that Pregnancy Help Center provides to residents of three counties who are faced with circumstances surrounding a present, potential or former pregnancy.

Pregnancy tests, peer counseling, classes for moms and dads. As well as limited ultrasound, and help with maternity clothing and baby items are just some of the services that the center provides to their clients.

Anyone interested in participating or in learning how to be a volunteer should contact the center at 281-578-0078.

If you happen to have a bottle out, please know that Labor Day would be a great time to return it to Pregnancy Help Center.

Pregnancy Help Center of West Houston would like to thank the following churches, their parishioners and congregations for their gifts: St. Edith Stein Catholic Church, Epiphany of the Lord Catholic Church, First Baptist of Katy, Redeemer Community Church, Kingsland Baptist Church, Current A Christian Church (Grace), Bridge Point Bible Church, Fellowship of Cinco Ranch, Christ Church Presbyterian, Katy Bible Church, Holy Covenant United Methodist, Family Life Assembly, Encourager, Cornerstone Evangelical Presbyterian, Westland Baptist Church, The River UMC, Cypress Family Fellowship, Riverbend Baptist Church, Life Church, St. Peters United Methodist Church, Calvary Chapel Katy, Katy Fellowship and The Crossing Church.

My spouse and I have tried for over 12 months without results. We tried out the many various strategies and even considering IVF however our healthcare doctor was adamant we continue to adopt the 'right' method, thru weight reduction and consistently using the ovulation calender. It had not been until I just read the story associated to this book - http://www.ouropinionis.com/stories/our-pregnancy-story.php that we started to better discover why I was not having a baby. You regularly pick up anytime you relax, forget about what the problem is (it isn't so simple is it?!) that things will happen. In our circumstances this was true my partner and I put it all the way down to the expertise I received as a result of reading this. It may possibly not be suitable for every individual despite the fact that after having a year of trying I was ready to give just about anything a try therefore we are pleased I did. [beam]

That was great news. It would be of great help to less fortunate pregnant moms.
