A painful reminder that our Freedom isn't FREE. I have the utmost respect for all who fight for our country and what it stands for. God bless this hero's family. On this July 4th I pray that our Patriotism and a faith in our country be reborn for that is the only thing that will keep this country a free country....

My prayers to your family. We probably crossed paths at soccer games all 4 years, as my son played all 4 years at KHS and graduated in 2009 as well. I cannot begin to imagine the grief your family must be feeling, but we THANK YOU for all your family has sacrificed to provide us with freedom in this country.

What a tragedy. Dimitri was an outstanding young man, played soccer for Taylor HS, full ride to West Point and had his whole life ahead of him. He was our neighbor for many years here in Green Trails. His family is devastated and heartbroken. May peace and understanding find them is this most awful of times.
